Our Story
Founded: March 3, 2025 • Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh
Deep in the breathtaking Himalayas, where rugged mountains meet vibrant communities, Nishee Himalayan Foundation came to life with a simple yet powerful dream: to uplift lives through education and empowerment. Founded in 2025 by Mohan Singh and Manisha Kumari in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, our journey began with a spark to change the future for women, children, and entire villages. Growing up in the hills, Manisha saw how families struggled—mothers who never got a chance to learn, children dreaming of schools far out of reach, and communities facing challenges to thrive. They believed that education, especially for women, could light the way to a stronger Himalaya. With this vision, they started Nishee Himalayan Foundation to bring learning, hope, and opportunities to every doorstep.
